The Formosa Golf Resort is one of Auckland's hidden pieces of paradise situated on the beautiful Pohutukawa Coast, only 45 minutes from central Auckland and a mere 35 minutes from Auckland Airport.
From its cliff top coastal fairways, the course has panoramic views of Waiheke Island, Rangitoto and the distant Coromandel peninsular. Designed by Sir Bob Charles, at least 16 out of the 18 holes have beautiful north facing views of the Hauraki Gulf.
With hundreds of pohutukawa trees , native trees, over 1,000 mature phoenix and Washington palms, and with 79 bunkers this course caters for golfers of every ability.

The event will be Ambrose, which is great for both social and serious golfers. The game is played in teams of four and offers golfers of all levels an enjoyable day. You can participate as an individual or you can enter a team (individual registrations will be allocated to a team). The golf day is open to conference delegates and gusest alike. This will be the perfect opportunity for you to reward your clients, network and have fun.

Those people who have never held a recognised handicap will be granted the following: Male 24 and Female 36. However, a maximum team handicap of 11 will be allocated. For those who have held or currently hold a recognised handicap, your last known handicap should be used.

Registration includes green fees, motorised cart, light lunch, after golf drinks and dinner with drinks. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

The golf day is open to delegates and guests. You can register as an individual or a team by completing the Registration Form.
Formosa Golf Resort's standard of dress must be followed at all times. Collared shirt and dress trousers or shorts (no jeans, beach shorts or track pants) and soft spiked golf shoes.
A coach will be arranged for 10.30am on Wednesday, 27 August to transfer participants from SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre to Formosa Golf Resort. Another coach will be organised for 7.45pm to transport guests from Formosa Golf Resort and drop players at their conference hotels.
Please indicate on the registration form if you require a seat. The price is $35 per person one way.
For those not wishing to be part of the official coach transfers there are a number of different options available to players for getting to Formosa.
Approximately 45 minutes from Auckland city and fare is approximately $100 one-way. Alternatively, if you are coming straight from the Auckland Airport, Formosa is just a 35-minute drive, approximately $90.
This is the cheapest and easiest way to get to Formosa from Auckland city. The ferry trip is approximately 20 minutes and the ferry terminal is 1 km from the course. One-way adult fare is $10. There are no discounts for a return fare, however please note that baggage other than ‘cabin baggage' may be charged for. A shuttle bus will be provided to transfer you from the ferry terminal to the course. Please contact us if you require a seat on this shuttle and advise which ferry you will be catching.

Cancellations and substitutions must be received in writing by the date advised below:
